“…There is rebirth of character, but no transmigration of a self. Thy thought-forms reappear, but there is no ego-entity transferred. The stanza uttered by a teacher is reborn in the scholar who repeats the words.  Only through ignorance and delusion do men indulge in the dream that their souls are separate and self-existent entities. Thy heart, O Brahman, is cleaving still to self; thou art anxious about heaven but thou seekest the pleasures of self in heaven, and thus thou canst not see the bliss of truth and the immortality of truth.”  — Buddha  The Gospel of Buddha, According to Old Records

While some believe it’s impossible to know whether there is life after death, belief in immortality is timeless. People of all times and places in history have believed that the human soul survives death. If there is no consciousness beyond the grave, then life has fooled almost everyone from the Pharaohs of Egypt to Jesus of Nazareth.  When we talk about rebirth or reincarnation, some people laugh at the idea. They consider such belief is passe and obsolete. Others may think such question is in arena of religion. After all, it concerns what is after death.

All Existence is Spiritual

The following text comes from The Gospel of Buddha, According to Old Records By Paul Carus, Chicago, The Open Court Publishing Company, 1894

THERE was an officer among the retinue of Simha who had heard of the discourses of the Blessed One, and there was some doubt left in his heart. This man came to the Blessed One and said: “It is said, O Lord, that the samana Gotama denies the existence of the soul. Do they who say so speak the truth, or do they bear false witness against the Blessed One

And the Blessed One said: “There is a way in which those who say so are speaking truly of me; on the other hand, there is a way in which those who say so do not speak truly of me. The Tathagata teaches that there is no self. He who says that the soul is his self and that the self is the thinker of our thoughts and the actor of our deeds, teaches a wrong doctrine which leads to confusion and darkness. On the other hand, the Tathagata teaches that there is mind. He who understands by soul mind, and says that mind exists, teaches the truth which leads to clearness and enlightenment.”

The officer said: “Does, then, the Tathagata maintain that two things exist? that which we perceive with our senses and that which is mental?”

Said the Blessed One: “I say to thee, thy mind is spiritual, but neither is the sense-perceived void of spirituality. The bodhi is eternal and it dominates all existence as the good law guiding all beings in their search for truth. It changes brute nature into mind, and there is no being that cannot be transformed into a vessel of truth.”  [ The Gospel of Buddha, According to Old Records ]

Identity and Non-Identity

The following text comes from The Gospel of Buddha, According to Old Records By Paul Carus, Chicago, The Open Court Publishing Company, 1894

KUTADANTA, the head of the Brahmans in the village of Danamati, having approached the Blessed One respectfully, greeted him and said: “I am told, O samana, that thou art the Buddha, the Holy One, the All-knowing, the Lord of the world. But if thou wert the Buddha, wouldst thou not come like a king in all thy glory and power?” Said the Blessed One: “Thine eyes are holden. If the eye of thy mind were undimmed thou couldst see the glory and the power of truth.”

Said Kutadanta: “Show me the truth and I shall see it. But thy doctrine is without consistency. If it were consistent, it would stand; but as it is not, it will pass away.” The Blessed One replied: “The truth will never pass away.”

Kutadanta said: “I am told that thou teachest the law, yet thou tearest down religion. Thy disciples despise rites and abandon immolation, but reverence for the gods can be shown only by sacrifices. The very nature of religion consists in worship and sacrifice.” Said the Buddha: “Greater than the immolation of bullocks is the sacrifice of self. He who offers to the gods his evil desires will see the uselessness of slaughtering animals at the altar. Blood has no cleansing power, but the eradication of lust will make the heart pure. Better than worshiping gods is obedience to the laws of righteousness.”

Kutadanta, being of a religious disposition and anxious about his fate after death, had sacrificed countless victims. Now he saw the folly of atonement by blood. Not yet satisfied, however, with the teachings of the Tathagata, Kutadanta continued: “Thou believest, O Master, that beings are reborn; that they migrate in the evolution of life; and that subject to the law of karma we must reap what we sow. Yet thou teachest the non-existence of the soul! Thy disciples praise utter self-extinction as the highest bliss of Nirvana. If I am merely a combination of the sankharas, my existence will cease when I die. If I am merely a compound of sensations and ideas and desires, whither can I go at the dissolution of the body?”

Said the Blessed One: “O Brahman, thou art religious and earnest. Thou art seriously concerned about thy soul. Yet is thy work in vain because thou art lacking in the one thing that is needful. There is rebirth of character, but no transmigration of a self. Thy thought-forms reappear, but there is no ego-entity transferred. The stanza uttered by a teacher is reborn in the scholar who repeats the words.

“Only through ignorance and delusion do men indulge in the dream that their souls are separate and self-existent entities. Thy heart, O Brahman, is cleaving still to self; thou art anxious about heaven but thou seekest the pleasures of self in heaven, and thus thou canst not see the bliss of truth and the immortality of truth.

“I say to thee: The Blessed One has not come to teach death, but to teach life, and thou discernest not the nature of living and dying. This body will be dissolved and no amount of sacrifice will save it. Therefore, seek thou the life that is of the mind. Where self is, truth cannot be; yet when truth comes, self will disappear. Therefore, let thy mind rest in the truth; propagate the truth, put thy whole will in it, and let it spread. In the truth thou shalt live forever. Self is death and truth is life. The cleaving to self is a perpetual dying, while moving in the truth is partaking of Nirvana which is life everlasting.”

Then Kutadanta said: “Where, O venerable Master, is Nirvana?” “Nirvana is wherever the precepts are obeyed replied the Blessed One.

“Do I understand thee aright,” rejoined the Brahman, “That Nirvana is not a place, and being nowhere it is without reality?” “Thou dost not understand me aright,” said the Blessed One, “Now listen and answer these questions: Where does the wind dwell

“Nowhere,” was the reply.

Buddha retorted: “Then, sir, there is no such thing as wind.” Kutadanta made no reply; and the Blessed One asked again: “Answer me, O Brahman, where does wisdom dwell? Is wisdom a locality?”

“Wisdom has no allotted dwelling-place replied Kutadanta. Said the Blessed One: “Meanest thou that there is no wisdom, no enlightenment, no righteousness, and no salvation, because Nirvana is not a locality? As a great and mighty wind which passeth over the world in the heat of the day, so the Tathagata comes to blow over the minds of mankind with the breath of his love, so cool, so sweet, so calm, so delicate; and those tormented by fever assuage their suffering and rejoice at the refreshing breeze.”

Said Kutadanta: “I feel, O Lord, that thou proclaimest a great doctrine, but I cannot grasp it. Forbear with me that I ask again: Tell me, O Lord, if there be no atman [soul], how can there be immortality? The activity of the mind passeth, and our thoughts are gone when we have done thinking.”

Buddha replied: “Our thinking is gone, but our thoughts continue. Reasoning ceases, but knowledge remains.” Said Kutadanta: “How is that? Are not reasoning and knowledge the same?”

The Blessed One explained the distinction by an illustration: “It is as when a man wants, during the night, to send a letter, and, after having his clerk called, has a lamp lit, and gets the letter written. Then, when that has been done, he extinguishes the lamp. But though the writing has been finished and the light has been put out the letter is still there. Thus does reasoning cease and knowledge remain; and in the same way mental activity ceases, but experience, wisdom, and all the fruits of our acts endure.”

Kutadanta continued: “Tell me, O Lord, pray tell me, where, if the sankharas are dissolved, is the identity of my self. If my thoughts are propagated, and if my soul migrates, my thoughts cease to be my thoughts and my soul ceases to be my soul. Give me an illustration, but pray, O Lord, tell me, where is the identity of my self?”

Said the Blessed One: “Suppose a man were to light a lamp; would it burn the night through?” “Yes, it might do so,” was the reply.

“Now, is it the same flame that burns in the first watch of the night as in the second?” Kutadanta hesitated. He thought it is the same flame, but fearing the complications of a hidden meaning, and trying to be exact, he said: “No, it is not.”

“Then,” continued the Blessed One, “there are two flames, one in the first watch and the other in the second watch.” “No, sir,” said Kutadanta. “In one sense it is not the same flame, but in another sense it is the same flame. It burns the same kind of oil, it emits the same kind of light, and it serves the same purpose.”

“Very well said the Buddha and would you call those flames the same that have burned yesterday and are burning now in the same lamp, filled with the same kind of oil, illuminating the same room?” “They may have been extinguished during the day,” suggested Kutadanta.

Said the Blessed One: “Suppose the flame of the first watch had been extinguished during the second watch, would you call it the same if it burns again in the third watch?” Replied Kutadanta: “In one sense it is a different flame, in another it is not.”

The Tathagata asked again: “Has the time that elapsed during the extinction of the flame anything to do with its identity or non-identity?” “No, sir,” said the Brahman, “it has not. There is a difference and an identity, whether many years elapsed or only one second, and also whether the lamp has been extinguished in the meantime or not.”

“Well, then, we agree that the flame of today is in a certain sense the same as the flame of yesterday, and in another sense it is different at every moment. Moreover, the flames of the same kind, illuminating with equal power the same kind of rooms, are in a certain sense the same.” “Yes, sir,” replied Kutadanta.

The Blessed One continued: “Now, suppose there is a man who feels like thyself, thinks like thyself, and acts like thyself, is he not the same man as thou?” “No, sir,” interrupted Kutadanta.

Said the Buddha: “Dost thou deny that the same logic holds good for thyself that holds good for the things of the world?” Kutadanta bethought himself and rejoined slowly: “No, I do not. The same logic holds good universally; but there is a peculiarity about my self which renders it altogether different from everything else and also from other selves. There may be another man who feels exactly like me, thinks like me, and acts like me; suppose even he had the same name and the same kind of possessions, he would not be myself.”

“True, Kutadanta, answered Buddha, he would not be thyself. Now, tell me, is the person who goes to school one, and that same person when he has finished his schooling another? Is it one who commits a crime, another who is punished by having his hands and feet cut off?” “They are the same, was the reply.

“Then sameness is constituted by continuity only?” asked the Tathagata. “Not only by continuity,” said Kutadanta, but also and mainly by identity of character.”

“Very well, concluded the Buddha, then thou agreest that persons can be the same, in the same sense as two flames of the same kind are called the same; and thou must recognize that in this sense another man of the same character and product of the same karma is the same as thou.” “Well, I do,” said the Brahman.

The Buddha continued: “And in this same sense alone art thou the same today as yesterday. Thy nature is not constituted by the matter of which thy body consists, but by thy sankharas, the forms of the body, of sensations, of thoughts. The person is the combination of the sankharas. Wherever they are, thou art. Whithersoever they go, thou goest. Thus thou wilt recognize in a certain sense an identity of thy self, and in another sense a difference. But he who does not recognize the identity should deny all identity, and should say that the questioner is no longer the same person as he who a minute after receives the answer. Now consider the continuation of thy personality, which is preserved in thy karma. Dost thou call it death and annihilation, or life and continued life?”

“I call it life and continued life,” rejoined Kutadanta, “for it is the continuation of my existence, but I do not care for that kind of continuation. All I care for is the continuation of self in the other sense, which makes of every man, whether identical with me or not, an altogether different person.”

“Very well,” said Buddha. “This is what thou desirest and this is the cleaving to self. This is thy error. All compound things are transitory: they grow and they decay. All compound things are subject to pain: they will be separated from what they love and be joined to what they abhor. All compound things lack a self, an atman, an ego.”

“How is that?” asked Kutadanta. “Where is thy self? asked the Buddha. And when Kutadanta made no reply, he continued: “Thy self to which thou cleavest is a constant change. Years ago thou wast a small babe; then, thou wast a boy; then a youth, and now, thou art a man. Is there any identity of the babe and the man? There is an identity in a certain sense only. Indeed there is more identity between the flames of the first and the third watch, even though the lamp might have been extinguished during the second watch. Now which is thy true self, that of yesterday, that of today, or that of tomorrow, for the preservation of which thou clamorest?” Kutadanta was bewildered. “Lord of the world,” he said, I see my error, but I am still confused.”

The Tathagata continued: “It is by a process of evolution that sankharas come to be. There is no sankhara which has sprung into being without a gradual becoming. Thy sankharas are the product of thy deeds in former existences. The combination of thy sankharas is thy self. Wheresoever they are impressed thither thy self migrates. In thy sankharas thou wilt continue to live and thou wilt reap in future existences the harvest sown now and in the past.”

“Verily, O Lord,” rejoined Kutadanta, this is not a fair retribution. I cannot recognize the justice that others after me will reap what I am sowing now.”

The Blessed One waited a moment and then replied: “Is all teaching in vain? Dost thou not understand that those others are thou thyself Thou thyself wilt reap what thou sowest, not others. Think of a man who is ill-bred and destitute, suffering from the wretchedness of his condition. As a boy he was slothful and indolent, and when he grew up he had not learned a craft to earn a living. Wouldst thou say his misery is not the product of his own action, because the adult is no longer the same person as was the boy?

“I say to thee: Not in the heavens, not in the midst of the sea, not if thou hidest thyself away in the clefts of the mountains, wilt thou find a place where thou canst escape the fruit of thine evil actions. At the same time thou art sure to receive the blessings of thy good actions. To the man who has long been traveling and who returns home in safety, the welcome of kinfolk, friends, and acquaintances awaits. So, the fruits of his good works bid him welcome who has walked in the path of righteousness, when he passes over from the present life into the hereafter.”

Kutadanta said: “I have faith in the glory and excellency of thy doctrines. My eye cannot as yet endure the light; but I now understand that there is no self, and the truth dawns upon me. Sacrifices cannot save, and invocations are idle talk. But how shall I find the path to life everlasting? I know all the Vedas by heart and have not found the truth.”

Said the Buddha: “Learning is a good thing; but it availeth not. True wisdom can be acquired by practice only. Practice the truth that thy brother is the same as thou. Walk in the noble path of righteousness and thou wilt understand that while there is death in self, there is immortality in truth.”

Said Kutadanta: “Let me take my refuge in the Blessed One, in the Dharma, and in the brotherhood. Accept me as thy disciple and let me partake of the bliss of immortality.”

According to Buddhism this is not the supreme atman or soul that ties one life to another, instead it talks about past lives as evolvement of consciousness, emergence of a new personality from the same stream of consciousness.

Reincarnation is not an exclusively Eastern precept. It is contained in some form in almost every major religion and mystical philosophy. Research indicates that it was an accepted doctrine, at least in some quarters, at the time of Christ, and is still an integral part of some sects of the Jewish tradition. The Bible contain no condemnation of the principle of reincarnation, and in fact, when Christ was asked when Elijah would return, he answered that Elijah had returned, referring to John the Baptist.

Sakina Yusuf Khan writes in an article A Night Of Forgiveness published in The Speaking Tree: “It (Shab-e-Barat) is also a festival associated with the dead. It is believed that the souls of the dead are set free on this night to visit their relatives.” What this indicates? This is a belief in reincarnation, of course in subtle body.

Unaccomplished activities of past lives are also one of the causes for reincarnation. Some of us reincarnate to complete the unfinished tasks of previous birth. The is evident from my own story of reincarnation:

“My most Revered Guru of my previous life His Holiness Maharaj Sahab, 3rd Spiritual Head of Radhasoami Faith had revealed this secret to me during trance like state of mine. This was sort of REVELATION.
HE told me, “Tum Sarkar Sahab Ho” (You are Sarkar Sahab). Sarkar Sahab was one of the most beloved disciple of His Holiness Maharj Sahab. Sarkar Sahab later on became Fourth of Spiritual Head Radhasoami Faith.
Since I don’t have any direct realization of it so I can not claim the extent of its correctness. But it seems to be correct. During my previous birth I wanted to sing the song of ‘Infinite’ (Agam Geet yeh gawan chahoon tumhri mauj nihara, mauj hoi to satguru soami karoon supanth vichara) but I could not do so then since I had to leave the mortal frame at a very early age. But through the unbounded Grace and Mercy of my most Revered Guru that desire of my past birth is being fulfilled now.”

I am one the chief expounder and supporter of Gravitation Force Theory of God. This is most scientific and secular theory of God. This is the Theory of Universal Religion. I have given Higher Theory of Everything. Sometimes back I posted this as comments to a blog on:
‘Fighting of the Cause of Allah by Governing a Smart Mathematics Based on Islamic Teology’
By Rohedi of Rohedi Laboratories, Indonesia. Rohedi termed my higher theory of everything more wonderful than which has been developed by Stephen Hawking. Some details are quoted below:
@anirudh kumar satsangi
Congratulation you have develop the higher theory of everything more wonderful than which has been developed by Stephen Hawking. Hopefully your some views for being considered for Unified Field Theory are recognized by International Science Community, hence I soon read the fundamental aspect proposed by you.

I have posted my comments to the Blog of Syed K. Mirza on Evolutionary Science vs. Creation Theory, and Intellectual Hypocrisy. Syed Mirza seems to be a very liberal muslim. He responded to my comments as mentioned below.
“Many thanks for your very high thought explanations of God.
You said:
“Hence it can be assumed that the Current of Chaitanya (Consciousness) and Gravitational Wave are the two names of the same Supreme Essence (Seed) which has brought forth the entire creation. Hence it can be assumed that the source of current of consciousness and gravitational wave is the same i.e. God or ultimate creator.
(i) Gravitation Force is the Ultimate Creator, Source of Gravitational Wave is God”
Whatever you call it, God is no living God of any religion. Yes, when I call it “Mother Nature” is the God generated from all Natural forces and Gravitational force is the nucleus of all forces or we can presume that Gravitation is the ultimate guiding principle of this Mother Nature we call it non-living God unlike living personal God of religions. I can not believe any personal God would do so much misery created for its creation. Hence, only non-living natural God can explain everything in the Universe. When we think of any living personal God, things do not ad up!”

I have also discovered the mathematical expression for emotional quotient (E.Q.) and for spiritual quotient (S.Q.).

Austrian Scientist Rudolf Steiner says,
“Just as an age was once ready to receive the Copernican theory of the universe, so is our age ready for the idea of reincarnation to be brought into the general consciousness of humanity”.

I find myself having to reread many portions of your posts, as your words spark trains of thought that lead to doors I have neglected for a number of years and I end up reading several lines while my mind is off on a tangent.

You are certainly not the only person who wonders about such seemingly absurd things. I find an unfortunate amount of time spent ‘daydreaming’ over such questions as have many others who have manifested I this current loop of infinity.

Consciousness is the focal point in the infinite IS however this current realty is but a shared projection of mind. Imagined limitation such as physical bodies are an attempt to place a mirror in front of itself and keep the Light within a box of artificial manufacture. The current program is possibly a learning simulation for an emergent revision that will birth it’s own successor.

Soulular Travel

By Ron O. Cook

Soulular Travel is the physical leveraging of Time/Space for the benefit of knowledge and wisdom to the spiritual soul, the eternal jiva. It can only be accomplished by the higher being existing within and throughout the realm of perceived existence. That higher being is ever changing and monadically multifaceted in expression. It has been said that it is almost holographic in its emulation, what some refer to as holo-spirited. Mankind is the progeny of this multifaceted generator or God.

Movement of the soul issues forth from unknown sources or means as it is understood from this the physical side. Advancement out of Timelessness is as a “Godly” broadcast of potential that is generated out of “His” order and unity, which are the products of the elements and principles of Deified Nature inherent within all we discern. Mind or creative thrust builds from potential and feeds back upon itself to amplify changing potential in the assembled matrix of existence/s.

Through event sequences, linked via connected feedback networks, memory becomes localized within the light vehicles (which makes up every physical form) manifesting in dimensional Time/Space. This collection of animated particles or carriers fabricates localizations or singular vehicles within a moiré arena’s program and mapping criteria. We are generated via the pixels of Godhood or the atoms of Physics.

Such travel necessitates the riding of light by the mentality in physical yet virtual realms. This travel is a focused collective of the vehicle’s programmed parameters. As the light interlaces with additional data in this projection of being, what we discern as reality, is manifest in Time/Space from the hidden realms of Timelessness.

Soulular Travel is held within Time and can be equated with a ride at the theme park or a walk through Disneyland. This realm is full of temptation permeated with constant movement toward potential chaos. (Chaos is but unperceived unity). Its opposite is even more expansive in potential. Timelessness is the reality of this existence with Time being the dream or illusion of Godhood. Eternity is the all-encompassing essence of the Totality (One with no second). It is the generative order or implicate unity. Mentality is multi-purposed, multifaceted, and multidimensional and can be manifest anywhere within the broadcast as a jiva.

In thought finality, Mind is the Totality. Mind rides the expressed Light but is not reliant upon it. Light is capable of creating the universe in illusion as a virtual reality, what some call the moiré arena or matrix. God is Mind…and Mind issues forth in God’s motion — The Enigmni. Mind moves from nothing toward everything and back via programmed feedback. Mind is the experience of existence whereby all creativity is found in a catalytic state of reinvention. It is a constancy of change. There is nothing faster than Mind, then comes Light. Because Mind is present with Light they appear as one…they are two, but light is the expression of the Mind — the broadcast. One is God the other is His Means — the Holy Spirit…the mover — the absolute, ultimate unknowable…Enigmni.

The First Logos or Creation is the Son; the Word catalyzes ideas into existence in sequence. The Word is REASON. Mind is first cause with no last. ? Last is an illusion of Time, which moves as a linear aspect generated in Timelessness. Linearity can be accompanied by dimensionality. Increased dimensionality adds complexity and solidity to Time for those who ride the Light. The more complex, and the more coherent, the hotter is the form. Mind is not affected by any of its creations, but its creations are affected by each preceding creation that manifests in evolutional sequence. Feedback created naturally by Mind and Light is essential to coherent knowing of each preparatory creation. Each structural dimension created amplifies congruence, Empathy, or Love and Knowing. 137 are the number of Creation.

Beings or mind-segments, which are attracted by each amplifying and complex organizational level, will localize in sequential fashion, from the smallest atomic structure to the most complex becoming dissipative structures of unlimited possibilities. Thus is the spiral of creation, the climb to amplified bemanship. Mind is uniformly everywhere, everything, and Eternal. Mind is the atmosphere of be-ness. Humanity is represented by a multitude of structural levels animated by total mentality within holo-faceted soulular bodies. Light creates the illusion of body and its programs of DNA supply the variety. Mind selects the product based on cause and consequence. Mind is God. Man is a part of God. God is the Whole. There is nothing else.

Mind may seek itself in exponential feedback waves that are everywhere at once yet holographically focused by a reflection mechanism on the physical side called a Brain (sequential computerized device). Such a virtual organ can and does make localizations think they are individuals capable of god-like creation. Personalities arise from each jiva. It is an illusion that must be learned due to sequential limitations. Individuals created in localizations use brains as a secondary focusing agent to create a holographic virtual domain wherein personality begins its initiation process. Personalities create dimensional illusions that flux and must be reinforced by recognition or observation from others. These brains coalesce mind into a sense field capable of creating solid reality. This virtual reality is hard copy to a conscious mind aided by a lens of being. The lens collects data for evaluation by the soulular entity and the All.

The generative order (implicate unity) is symbolized by a being (person) seated in outline form. It is fractalian in nature and existence is created within the relation to a mathematical (geometric) interface inherent with this symbol. Inside the symbol is the void-potential, outside is the creation. Where the two meet is the implicate order or cursor of God’s Eye. The leading edge is where Time is on the FLY. Timelessness feeds the potential that smears out over created time/space awaiting localization of monadic mind to project into the Third Logos…Man.

This smear of potential is as the multifaceted or holographic plate (information float), all potential is inherent within its confines as feedback looping is progressing faster than the speed of Light. It is Mind. This combination allows Light to seem to have “Prior Knowledge,” to a singular localization.

But, Prior Knowledge in totality is the All, seated in Timelessness.

The last time mankind came so close to Timelessness physically, man gave the tower of Babylon its namesake (babble) with many languages to confuse the feebleminded being who would dare to learn the meaning of existence. Now, if we are cautious, we may finally join the lesser gods in springing into a whole new dimension of understanding through technology. Virtual Reality, along with the understandings of Fractal Geometry, Nanotechnology, Holography, Laser-tech, and other leading-edge, computer driven technologies, will show us the way to how Deity and Its powerful energy or spirit can broadcast itself into the virtual realm that we all are experiencing at present…the universe.

According to Michael Heim, who wrote the 1993 version of The Metaphysics of Virtual Reality, there are seven divergent directions that VR research is moving through. They are: Simulation, Interaction (augmented reality), Artificiality, Immersion, Telepresence, Full-body Immersion, and Networked Communications. These seven directions will someday reconvene offering humanity the tools to recreate himself. Marry the newly advocated theory of a Holographic Universe touted by David Bohm, Karl Pribram and Michael Talbot, then charge its mathematics with Benoit Mandelbrot’s Fractal Geometry (which can emulate all known visual universes) and we are on our way to seeing the deeper aspects of existence.

Virtual reality will soon allow us to become anyone, anything, anywhere, anyhow, anywho-beings when we flip the switch and step into a high resolution, 3-dimensional visual-sound, pheromone aided environment. There, our real sensory systems will suffer a paradigm shift into a world augmented by heads-up displays of hypertext, cyberspace/form, and amplified knowledge available in a mirror-world context, at speeds that will seem like reality is blending into super-reality. We will be able to learn everything we learned in high school in a few short sessions. If Marshall McLuhan thought that television rendered high school obsolete, then VR will render education meaningless. All knowledge will be gestalt and inherent.

Total access will be at our behest. You will be able to live through any animal; dive to the depths of your own blood stream; repair your own body from within, live in deep space in a robot body that will become your home or work away from home, and when the robot sleeps you repair and feed (energize) it and yourself. You may even share in your robots dreams. You will be able to visit virtual worlds within virtual worlds and might even lose yourself and die in a virtual world before realizing that you really are alive in your own living room. Of course, you may really be dead.

Can you see what I am showing you? Who is to say whether or not our lives are really virtual realities for ourselves or a higher form? Localization is suspect. Where do you truly exist? The ancient Essenes said that you exist as spirit or animator occupying a form. You are eternal the form is an experience. Modern day religions say the same thing. Is religion really technology that we think is magical but its really VR in true syntax. Sumerian texts say that the gods came to earth to work the gold mines and became tired. They made a lesser man (via genetic engineering?) and dismembered (divided) a god to use his breath or spirit to drive the beings they made. Many ancient religions such as the Aztecs, Egyptians and others speak of the many faceted god that occupies all of us in our clay-based bodies.

What we are learning today about evolving Physics (another word for Godhood) in Quantum areas, shows us that locating the being on one level is extremely difficult at another level. Flesh and blood or “meat” as William Gibson referred to our bodies in his book Neuromancer , is matter that is glued together by a matrix of being driven by the irradiating force of a peculiar light. This thinking, vibrant mind-form seems to be on board a body but is extremely elusive when brain studies are conducted. What animates our brains and remembers, acts exactly like a holographic entity because it does not necessarily lose its memory even when 90% of the brain is inactive or cut away. A hologram that is fragmented can reconstitute the original when light is passed through the part. The part knows the whole. The holographic-like brain seems to act as an interface to reality–a lens of complex sensory capability that allows a spirit to manipulate the toys of a dimensional virtual reality via waves and interference waves of information animated in feedback loops.

Now do you see the power that virtual reality will have to totally transform our civilization? Recently, I explained this to my Son-in-law who is a preacher and is working toward his doctorate. I am a very spiritual man that can see the changing face of Deity; he is a religious man that may not be able to see the changing of a God that is continuously becoming. What will virtual reality do to our beliefs, our professions, our culture, and our lives? Suffice to say it will be like kicking in the after-burners to our psyches.

The primary law of Soulular Travel is that of the Law of Consequence or Karma. To know that all actions impact the tools of being is necessary to negotiate in this world of things and stuff. Such things are of no consequence in the end state of becoming since they do not exist. What does exist is the continuum or the All in Timelessness, no-time or eternity.

Additional Info:

To consider one’s self as more than physical is natural in retrospective meditation. Why would one consider anything else but that he/she is Mind? Did you ever feel that you were the only one in the universe that thought the way you do? Like no one else thinks of the crazy, weird things that seem to preoccupy your mind. We are talking existence here.

Did you ever awaken from a sleep-state — and just before you were totally awake — have you wondered what you were for just a short time? What am I? What is this experience of being? Look all around you, how many people do you know who are just racking their brains wondering what the heck they are doing, thinking from inside a standard living water-bag form, occupying space and fettering away this commodity called time. — We are using every tool imaginable to manipulate and leverage reality into something that makes sense or gives you an edge over fear of the unknown. And, what is fear? Failure?

The unknown has been identified by science as an ordered universe which functions from enigmatic laws not established by mankind but gradually discovered by him. Or, were they forgotten by him? These laws are supposedly omnipotent, ever changing, and have almost always been in existence for us to live in, on and through. Newton and Einstein did not make these laws, they only noticed that they (laws) were running this show.

What are the laws of physics and who or what did the ground work for starting this fantastic reality ruled by such laws? I want to know. What got this huge amusement park full of the most sophisticated virtual reality couched in holographic stage settings composed via Fractalian Geometry and constructed in nanotechnological fashion to form the setting for my life? Who? Where are you hiding? Show yourself. I know you are just living through me. Enough is enough.

Judging from the lack of concern about the above questions, exhibited by my fellow humans, I must have had something to do with all this because I am the only one who thinks about these things. I guess I started all of this and then forgot how I did it — oh! Do you think about such things too? Boy, could we use a few more thinkers.

I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of getting all this misinformation from elitist-intellectuals, telling me that this universe was created in a “Big Bang” and it came about because something moved and caused a ripple in the void or in the spaceless, timeless nothing. Don’t you see — it was an instantaneous inflation that came from a step-by-step explosion of matter-forms evolving through sequences of events controlled by natural laws? Where did the laws come from? Did they develop on the fly? A sort of “law as you go” thing? What is the field or matrix for these laws? Don’t you see — it is like a black hole starting from a crushing gravitational, singularity-state and just zooming into a living room full of mutant ninja turtles on the TV? Don’t you see — it took billions of years? Oh, Time. What is time, space or space/time?

Scientists and intellectuals have been protecting the concept of the Big Bang for a long time. Now, they say that they have found evidence for its reality via a satellite called COBE. George F. Smoot, of the Lawrence Berkely Laboratory, some years back announced to the world that the big bang was supported by NASA’s Cosmic Background Explorer satellite called COBE.

These cosmologists detected in the microwave sky, the relics of lumpy structures that supposedly existed after the universe was born in a gargantuan explosion. Until the announcement, COBE had been killing the theory of the Big Bang by indicating that the background’s radiation data was showing a smooth uniform beginning which could not have produced the scattered matter we find in the galaxies, stars, black holes, quasars and other elements of the heavens. The real universe is coming to light however, with new discoveries that are shaking the world of science. ? The “Great Attractor” for instance, is sucking (via gravity) some four hundred galaxies including the Milky Way toward a point some 300 million light years beyond Hydra-Centaurus. The Big Bang theory can not exist within the parameters that the G A and other recently discovered phenomena present to us.

In the 5th century, St. Augustine indicated that God created the universe out of and outside of time. Timelessness is an interesting subject to think on both physically and metaphysically. Ask a scientist the ultimate why, and he will say that our being came from no thing. Then ask him to explain what no thing is — It will probably look about like the clothes that the old emperor was wearing, the day the little boy decided to rely on observation rather than theory. Half of science is a guess — the other half manifests in a fabricated illusion that we preoccupy ourselves with while we’re waiting for the one who whispers to our deep consciousness…the truths of being. His name is Reason…total reason…the Logos.

Consider the communication of the universe as mental-mathematics in action. Every fraction has a crucial part to play. “Fractua” is Latin for irregular, so Benoit Mandelbrot, an IBM Fellow, coined the name “fractals” (1980) for his self-similar geometry which can emulate the visual and perhaps other sensory dictates of the world of chaos and the dimensional reality of natural forms. Fractal Geometry can define reality in a numerical fashion as it exists in the micro and macro realms…thus digitally mapping all being, via quantum manipulation and on-going change factors which are broadcast within the electromagnetic spectrum and throughout eternity. Apply this to holography and we may have something approaching reality.

The fact that some students of knowledge seem to miss when entranced by the symbol of the Mandelbrot Set’s island molecule, is that it looks exactly like a silhouetted “Sitting Buddha.” To accidentally stumble upon such synchronism between a mathematical equation for reality and a philosophical icon for life (Buddha) is indeed awesome for those who seek the arcane wisdom of the ancient gods. If the two were truly related, perhaps more investigation would bridge the gaps between traditional religion and modern science. Both are really looking for the same understanding of truthful existence in this Universe. However, the point remains…there are no schools of thought higher than Truth…though its secret is ever corrupted into matter.

Isaac Asimov once reinforced the above by stating that the secrets of the universe are enfolded in fractals and that the enigma of this constancy will remain forever unknown. Other scientists and philosophers think differently, and are in a heated race to frame a fractal-future in a new and fascinating understanding that could finally address the concepts of infinite creation through a quantum/holographic/fractal marriage thus creating a virtual reality.

Jaron Lanier, the founder and CEO of VPL Research, Inc., indicated that virtual reality is an alternate state filling the same niche otherwise filled by physical reality. It is created when people wear a computerized goggle or headgear, and data clothing over the sense organs and sensually digest the data. If VR generates enough stimuli outside one’s sense organs to indicate the existence of a particular alternate world, then that person’s nervous system will kick into gear and treat that simulated world as real. So, to the mind it becomes an opening into a Technicolored world of dreams, or learning experiences that seem real, plus it also allows your friends to suit up and join your virtual reality.

But what does the realm of indescribable meaning offer to this place of manifest matter that we call reality? Is life just an interlude of processing neuro-transmissions of dream-matter coalescing via electromagnetic interaction with plasma? Or, could it represent some unknown dimension of reality that we humans stumble upon periodically? How do we Homo sapiens get a handle on thinking states that address reality?

The ether (plasma?) that is the electromagnetic-flux of the very essence of reality, seems far away from the troubles that sit outside our doors; ergo, the key to what we truly are, rests in latent thought awaiting birth through human leveraging. We must push our minds toward higher understandings of being. This process requires deeply critical, metaphorical thinking and visualization. Example: A two-dimensional understanding of how a phosphor on a TV screen becomes irradiated by a directed beam of light from the scanning gun of the cathode-ray tube to produce the animated television pictures that we view every night, can serve as a point of departure toward meaning.

To the pixel (dot) on your TV screen, there is a movement of animated being for a fraction of a second…almost life-like. It knows not the source of its energy, yet the field of its bright existence is the coated screen…the arena of action. Take this analogy to the third dimension and think of what we seem to be. ? We are animated by energy on all quantum/physical levels. We are a collection of the human genome rising through realms of interacting microcosms toward the human level of systemic existence that we experience as being alive. If the phosphor had an on-board thinking ability it would be almost like us…a complex of being supported by five-sensory information processing. Our multi-sensory capabilities give us readings on reality in our physical states. We retain this sensory knowledge in memory and improve upon it to make our lives better or more interesting by manipulating the arena with mental or manifest tools. Grasp this metaphor and you may see the point of the next one.

In the future, virtual reality could become like the holo-deck on Star Trek’s Enterprise. It could also show us something much more astonishing. It could show us our true nature of being. Think. If we could experience a virtual reality on the holo-deck that would allow us to live a life as anything or anybody within our thought processes, we would be in a God-like position…animating an entity living through a form or simulated matter. It could be broadcast electromagnetism and plasma just projecting us and the universe into being/becoming.

We could experience a series of lives via this media becoming reincarnated in whatever forms we so deemed. After all, it would all be programmed with everything outside of us, feeding back the illusion of time, space, things, other people, etc…All relayed back to your senses making everything seem real. Considering that the light (total spectrum) radiates from God (or some cosmic designer), and it exists throughout the Universe, could we just be a sophisticated holographic experience for a higher being that is living through this…a gargantuanly complex virtual, virtual reality built via nanotechnologic methods programmed in the universal computer?

A nanometer equals one billionth of a meter and Eric K. Drexler (“Engines of Creation”) believes that we will soon fabricate tiny nano-machines that will themselves fabricate steaks from straw and dirt; spaceships from seeds; and cure diseases with the same technology. In short we could someday totally remake the entire universe with such a methodology. He believes that if this technology is developed we could exert complete control over the structure of matter. Japan believes this also, and is currently building an institute of nanotechnology. Is that why they need all that plutonium?

Eric Drexler uses a word “meme” (like cream), coined by Richard Dawkins. It means thinking by imitation. Memes are bits of replicating mental patterns like tunes, ideas, catch-phrases, fashions, etc., that propagate themselves in the meme pool (mind collective) gaining strength with each mind-meld until they become a trend or a set pattern of information. Thought or a knowing is bred through imitation, repetition, rhythm, and constant movement. Did the MEME pool create the Big Bang or did the Big Broadcast always exist? The broadcast of Godhood is perpetual.
